As a lover of textiles, dyes, and all things fibers, experimentation in all forms of production is a natural part of life. The project depicted below began in Winter 2021 as a remedy to my cold concrete floors. Rather than using layers of toxic carpet glues and non-slip pads, this project only contains three ingredients: wool yarn, cotton monks cloth, and latex backing. The latex not only serves as the glue to bind the fibers together, but also as slip prevention.
